We're Safe at Home / Babies on the News
We're finally home. :) It was quite an adventure traveling from Phoenix. Our friend Andy helped get all of us and our many bags to the airport (thanks Andy!!). Then we made it through security with four babies, which was no small feat. The flight went well ... the babies slept almost the whole way and looked so sweet in their little oxygen masks. We were all a little nervous about their how they would handle the altitude, but they all did fine.
When we arrived, we were met by a very enthusiastic Martin crew and Fox and NBC News at the baggage claim. The babies and Dan and I were on the morning news. Thanks to Uncle Geoff for helping organize that.
It was wonderful to get home. My friend Nancy and her crew of boys (now our neighbors!) hung a big banner of flags and balloons above the street. In the driveway, our long lost dog Morgan gave us the greeting of a lifetime. The new house looked great, we couldn't believe how much work everyone had done to move us in. We felt at home right away. This morning the travelers caught up
on sleep while Aunt Kelli, Kaitlyn, and Grandpa babysat. The babies got to sleep in their new playpen bassinets, and did some baby aerobics on their new playmats. It was so cute to see them with their new things.
Fox News ended up coming to the house to film another segment for tonight's 10pm news. It was definitely a day full of memories. And we are very happy and proud to welcome Matt, Sam, Sofi, and Naty to Michigan. Yay!!!

Horray!! I'm glad you're all home safe and sound. And famous too!
I love the picture of the babies and the toys - that might have to replace the Michigan outfits as my new desktop :)
Yipyy! And, toast! And, post! Welcome home! What a great homecoming from the Martin and friends clan. Can't wait to come see you guys! love, sil
How is Morgy adapted to the babies and the new home? She looks so curious and cute in that picture!
How exciting, you have 4 cute babies, a new home, you're on TV, way to go!!! Exciting news, at least I think so;), I'm coming home this weekend!!!! I get to meet the babers! Yay!!! I'll be home Sat.-Tues morning, see you all soon! :)
Danielle - that's awesome that you're coming home, we can't wait to see you. The babies did a little cheer when we told them.
Silvy - Morgie has been very cute. She is tender and cautious around the babies, but she is definitely curious. Last night she slept between their little bassinette and our bed making sure everyone was ok.
Wes - unfortunately, Dan didn't make the Brangelina joke. But it was still pretty cute -- he stumbled over how many diapers a day we use and the reporter used that on TV saying "even Dad is a little confused..."
Wow, I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to have four little ones, I find the thought of expecting one in a few months time overwhelming at times, but they are all absolutely gorgeous! :)
Congratulations and hope all continues to go well!!
